I've made it to the end of the work year, thank god.
There isn't really much else to say, I'm so glad that the year is over and I now have 18 days off. I would have preferred not to have been on call for the next week, but at least I'm not going to work and I should be able to forget about what I was doing. I think I've basically cleared the decks so there isn't too much hanging over from this year into next year.
I need to start thinking about my new year resolution, but I'm pretty sure that it will be based around losing weight or motocamping or both.
Eighteen days, it even looks better when you write the word instead of just using two numbers. I don't think that I'm going to be able to get out camping with the family or even motocamping on my own during the next eighteen days but I do have another week off later in January and I've already spoken to my wife about taking the kids camping for a couple of nights during that week. I think I'll hit up a couple of my mates and see if they want to come along and bring their families with them too. I'll probably just head down the coast to one of the family orientated camp grounds with swimming pools and play grounds. Being close to the beach is a bonus too. Last time I went down with my son we spent the morning at the beach, then went and got some fish and chips for lunch. After lunch we had a play in the playground and on the jumping pillows before spending the afternoon in the pool. There isn't really a better way to spend a day with the kids and there isn't really anything else for me to do whilst all that is going in.
I'm really going to make an effort to try and take as many photos and videos as I can with the 360° camera over the next eighteen days too. I really want to push the limits of what I can do with it.
