Christmas is almost here

Only a couple of weeks left until the Christmas break. I think my wife and I have got everything sorted out, and when I say my wife and I, I mean my wife. We went shopping on Saturday for a couple of hours and got quite a bit of stuff for the kids and I also got my Kris Kringle gift for my family.
I got a small drone and some batteries for it. I don't know what my sister-in-law will think of it and my wife won't want it but, between Dad, my brother, sister and my sisters boyfriend I'm pretty sure that at least one of them will want it and if not, then I'll happily have it. It's not big enough to carry the 360° camera on it and even it I could somehow attach it and it did fly, I wouldn't trust it as it's not very big.
There's something I haven't talked about in a while, the 360° camera. It's still sitting in its case in the garage waiting for the motocamping trip I keep saying that I'm going to do. I never even played with the settings to see what kind of night time photography I could take with it.
I have done a little thinking on the motocamp360 youtube channel and I think that what I had in mind originally is not what I'd actually be good at. I wanted to be kind of a host and put my face on camera, but I just don't know if that's what I'd want to watch, well, at least in my overweight state I wouldn't want to. I know that it shouldn't matter but there were a couple of videos that I watched early on where someone about my age and size made a couple of motocamping videos and it didn't grab me.
I look at other motocamping or just camping videos when they show food preparation and the like, but with a 360° camera you can't really zoom in on the food part, everything is always in the shot, that's the whole point of 360°. I do think that 360° footage should be more about the scenery and a drone would really help that out. I may just have to ask for a drone for Christmas myself, or just annoy my wife enough until she lets me buy one.
I'm still a little annoyed that I haven't gone out motocamping even once since daylight savings started, when by now I was hoping to have done so quite a few times.
