Bonus Motivation

This morning I got quite a surprise. My Motocamp360 Instagram account got some likes and a comment from a random person in Utah USA. They liked the half a dozen photos and left a comment on one of them encouraging me to keep on creating. Like this blog, I've done nothing to promote the Instagram account as I haven't really started doing anything with it. I set it up when I was all excited and motivated to get out motocamping.
I think it shows that there is some sort of appetite out there for what I want to do, I just need to start doing it. The unfortunate thing is that I can figure out just when I may be able to go motocamping any time in the next month or so.
I might try and take the kids camping somewhere during school holidays but I'm not sure what my wife will think about that. I think I'd take them to a "Big 4" for two nights as that's what seems to work the best. They always have big playgrounds and a pool or two as well as some decent kitchen facilities if you need them as being the middle of summer there is usually total fire bans in place.
Once the kids are back at school, I'll take another look at taking a day off during the week so I can head out somewhere. In summer it is so hot that it might be worthwhile heading up into the snowy mountains where hopefully it will be a little cooler. Today it's about 10°C cooler up there then where I live so it could be really nice in the middle of summer up there. There won't be any snow and the roads are meant to be good for riding so I think that's what I'll aim to do. Hopefully there will be some nice photo opportunities and some good roads to film on.
