Getting things back in order

I think the end of the year rush has also been getting to my wife. The house has been more cluttered than usual and it was in need of a big clean out. My wife had yesterday off work so she could attend my daughters school Christmas concert. She spent the morning de-cluttering and getting things back in order.
This morning I vacuumed and mopped the whole house in the morning and started to get everything else in order to make the holidays easier on us. I even started drafting some more posts for this blog so I'm not caught out again.
I can already feel the weight of work has lifted. At night when I'm trying to go to sleep I've recently been thinking about what I had to do the next day at work, nearly everything I was thinking about in my spare time was work related. I think I've carried on enough about work and needing and break over the last few weeks and now it's finally here I'm going to enjoy it.
Coming back into Sydney in the early morning at the end of our cruise
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before, but in January this year, we went on a family holiday on a cruise ship. We went to New Zealand and all I've been wanting to do since we got back is arrange for us to go on another cruise. I think it has something to do with being on holidays in summer again that is really reminding me of the cruise. I think I'm going to pester the wife a little until we book our next cruise.  I could easily become addicted to cruising if they are all similar to what I experienced last time.
