Winter is coming

I really shouldn't use that title, I've never watched an episode of Game of Thrones and I don't plan to any time soon. Last night it started raining pretty hard and today it has been pretty cold. From what seems like an endless summer it only got to around 16°C today and it was wet and windy. It definitely feels like winter is coming and it could be a cold one.
Googong is a little higher in elevation than Canberra and Queanbeyan so it will be a little colder and it is also a lot winder by all accounts. The wind may be blocked a little more as the trees grow and there is more development but it's been strong enough to blow over some of our larger pot plants and also the kids basketball hoop even with the base filled with rocks.
Because of the colder weather I haven't set the trampoline up yet but I plan to do that tomorrow. I've hung some pictures for my wife and we still have a couple of boxes left to unpack. On Tuesday an electrician is coming to install the power points we wanted so the dryer will move out of the garage and into the laundry, my wife also has someone coming to pickup the old washing machine tomorrow so we'll be getting a little more free space in the garage.
Just an idea, the yard isn't that big
One good thing about colder weather I'm looking forward to getting the fire-pit going again. I haven't really worked out where it's going to be set up in the backyard, I don't really want to put it on the grass so I may have to create a little area with some crazy pavers and maybe some logs to sit on or something.

Bomber
I'll be complaining it's too cold soon...
