Making Money with Social Media

The reason why I want to make money from making videos for social media is that I see it as a challenge and really, who wouldn't want to make a living out of doing what they love. I don't think that I'd ever be able to earn enough to quite working my current job altogether, but if I could make enough to say do a three or four day week, freeing up a day to pursue the motocamp360 business, then why not.
I read about a teacher who I think was in the US who was encouraging his students and anyone else that would listen to just follow their dreams and be the best that they could possibly be. If you wanted to sit at home and play computer games all day, that's great, try to be the best computer game player in the world and you'll make more money than you could ever imagine. The same holds true for everything. Any hobby, trade, sport, or whatever, that you love can make you lots of money if you become one of the best in the world at it. Now I don't think that I'll ever become the best motovlogger with 360° camera in the world, but if I try really hard, you just never know.
One of the channels I've been following for a while "Joe Robinet" is about outdoor bush craft skills, I watch it for some of his bush craft and some just because he is outside camping in the wild and living life. He also earns enough money because he has a successful YouTube channel, to live and provide for his wife and family. He recently purchased a house in a more remote location so he can be closer to where he like to practice his bush craft so he can make even more videos. That is pretty cool in my books.
There are other social media identities that are making a decent living from just doing what they love, filming it and putting it up on YouTube.
I would love to be in the position where I was earning more money from just going motocamping. I love camping and I love riding my motorcycle, I also enjoy spending time on the computer playing with new software and being creative. If I did somehow earn enough that all I did was motocamp360, it would be amazing. I could go camping for a night or two each week and still be with my wife and kids each weekend. Heck I could probably do a week of camping and get a months worth of videos in that time, so have one week on the road and three weeks at home. Sure I'd have to be editing and keeping on top of the social media aspect, but the quality of life would be so much different.
