Self Improvement

Why do I want to make myself better, why do I want to self improve? Well I don't believe that anyone is perfect, I don't think that anyone could ever be perfect. There is always room for improvement, everyone can do more to be better in some way and by starting this blog and setting myself goals I was hoping to improve myself. This blog was to help motivate me into doing more and I think it has. Without recording my weight each week and the amount of exercise I was getting, I probably would have given up on it. Yeah, I know, it's not like I'm doing much at the moment, but setting goals and then achieving them is one of the ways I motivate myself.
This last weeks worth of posts is an example of how I've been improving. I've gotten better at managing my time leading up to moving house. Not only have I managed to help clean the house and pack its contents. I continued to post on this blog each night and in amongst all of that I managed to write extra posts to get me through the week that I have been away for.
I'm not looking forward to tomorrows post, well more precisely, when I weigh myself in the morning for tomorrows post, perhaps I've already packed the scales, who knows. Starting Wednesday, I'm back to walking in the afternoons as long as it's not raining. I'll also set up the weights bench somewhere in the new house or garage and try to use that at least twice a week on top of going for a walk. I can imagine that the next few weekends are going to be pretty busy getting settled into the new house and trying to figure out what I'm going to do with the backyard. Currently it is just a completely flat patch of grass. I think it is time I learned some more landscaping skills and put them to use.
