List day

Friday, list-day, doesn't quite have the right ring to it but I figured that I'll go over the list on Fridays as it will give me a good idea of what needs doing. I should have some time over the weekend to get most things done as we've cancelled our standing lunch date with my Dad so we could try and finish off most of the packing and the other chores around the house. Basically what I don't get done by next Friday most likely wont be getting done before moving day.

• Clean the laundry - we need to clean everything on moving day but I want to at least make a start on this before then. I will make it easier on moving day.
• clean all the scuff marks off the walls and doors - apart from giving the bathroom a good clean, I want to do the sunroom walls with sugar soap, everything else will just need a quick clean once we've got everything out.
• clean the blinds - I'll give them a quick vacuum if I get time
• clean all the aircon ducts - maybe
• clean the fly screens - I'll give the worst ones a go
• clean the deck - still needs to be done, but again if I run out of time it may get missed.
• sort out the garage - I can give the cars a clean and check over the motorbike before packing what I can and organising the rest so it is ready to move.
• Fix the lounge room walls - I forgot this task off the list originally. I need to remove all the home theater cables and speaker mounts and then paint the walls in the lounge room.

The weeks are still flying by but the end of this chapter is in sight and I'm looking forward to writing about something else for a while. There will probably be a lot of posts about gardening and more lists of things to do at the new place. Perhaps Friday will be known as List Day for a while so I can keep track of what needs doing and what I've done.
