Weighing In

Well with holidays over until my next break in March, the house basically sold and if it falls through then at least some of the work is done to prepare it to go on the market and the new year well and truly under way, I guess I should start looking at doing some exercise again.
It is still really hot, I don't remember ever having so many hot days in row, summer always had a week or two of really high temps but it seems like we've had more than usual this year. Adelaide had the hottest day ever recorded for an Australian capital city the other day and there is no real sign of it letting up. It looks like they are predicting it to cool down a little by the end of next week, friday is meant to be 29°C which will be a welcome change from the mid 30s we'll be experiencing all week.
I'm going to have to try and do something to get me exercising again, I'm rapidly gaining weight and really need to get a hold of the situation. I've also stopped drinking water for some reason. I realised this morning, that despite all the heat I don't know when I last had just water. It must be almost a week or possibly longer, I didn't have any while we were camping, I just had fizzy drink and some cans of bourbon and coke, this week I've had a coffee each morning then a couple of beers each night. I don't really know how I'm surviving on just beer and sugary water, I guess that explains the weight gain a little.
