Heatwave

Man it is hot. There is no way that I would want to be out trying to camp in this weather. Being in all my bike gear and trying to film in this weather would be unbearable, I'd probably end up dehydrated or get heat stroke or both. It's not like I was planning on heading out but, man, it's hot.
Yesterday was 34°C, today 37°C and tomorrow is predicted to be 36°C. Sunday it is meant to cool down and be back in the mid to high 20's, which is just about where I like it.
I can see why some of the American motovloggers/motocampers mainly shoot during the colder months. From the lessons I learned in September when Motocamping and trying to film it that I needed to try and head out during daylight savings. I have a feeling that I'm going to end up riding up into the mountains a lot if I want to film during the summer. That or I'm going to have to get a better sleeping bag for colder weather and do more winter camping. I've always thought that camping in the snow would be really fun, I know it would be a challenge but just waking up with snow all around would be awesome. One of the biggest issues that we have in all of our National Parks is that you can't collect firewood within them, not that's really an issue and I completely understand what they are trying to protect, it just means that I'd have to carry in any firewood that I wanted on my motorcycle, that would be a little awkward and possibly dangerous with the amount of stuff I'd then be loading onto the bike.
I really shouldn't be making excuses not to go motocamping, I really should just start making some firm plans and then head out and do it....

Did I say it's hot?
