Happy Easter!
We don't really celebrate Easter in the Christian sense in our house, there's no going to church or anything like that, but the Easter Bunny visits. If your not into Easter, then that's ok too. Things in Australia are getting a little crazy where we are now pampering to all the different religions and not calling things by their religious names, it is not Christmas holidays, it's summer holidays. It's not Christmas time, it's the Festive Season. Easter Eggs are no longer even called Easter Eggs, they just call them chocolate eggs. We are a Christian nation, why do we need to apologise or change our way. Australians overseas will still have BBQs on Australia Day, but we won't expect whichever country we're in to make it a public holiday for us. We don't demand that other countries change their laws because we don't like them or they don't align with our own laws or beliefs. We respect the other country and it's traditions, we may not participate in them but we won't cry foul if our children are in their schools and get taught things differently, we put them in that school, they weren't forced to go there and we weren't forced to live in their country. Anyway that's enough ranting, we've got it pretty good in Australia, it just gets my goat up when people want to try and take advantage of our generosity.
Apart from all the chocolate I'm going to eat over the next little while, I'm happy with the way things are going. I haven't been as busy this week at work in terms of being able to get out from my desk, but I've been busy all the same and managed to get out for a walk at least three times after work. I think I may have missed Monday's walk and I'm not sure why, Of course Friday was a public holiday and Saturday the kids came back from the coast and we had my Wife's family checking out the new digs and my sister-in-law stayed for dinner.

I'll throw a shrimp on the BBQ for anyone who wants to live in Australia and respect our way of life. I'll even throw a falafel on the BBQ if they want.
