On Wednesday night we finally saw our neighbours. We're not quite sure what they were up to but from the looks of it they were blessing their house or something like that by drawing patterns near the front door with salt. I've tried searching up some of the symbols that they've drawn and I can't find them online. It was late and it was dark so we didn't go out to meet them but it was interesting to see all the symbols in the morning.
On Thursday afternoon when I headed off for a walk, someone was in their garage and I introduced myself. The person was just a friend of the owners but seemed nice enough. He was of most likely Indian background so I'm guessing that symbols may be Hindu or Buddhist in nature, who knows they could even be Magick or something else somewhat obscure.
It doesn't bother me either way, it's just nice to finally know that we have some neighbours and that they don't ride loud pipe Harley's or something like that which could really change the feel of the place.
No doubt we'll meet them soon enough so I'm not going to go rushing around to introduce myself, there will be plenty of time for introductions later.
I still haven't organised any solar power quotes, I really need to get onto that as I do want to get solar power installed sooner rather than later. I just need to make the time to call a few places to arrange for them to come out and give a quote. Hopefully they won't be a slow as everyone else has been. We still haven't got a quote off the gasfitter who lives two doors up the street. He was going to install a BBQ outlet for me but I haven't seen him since he came around to look at the job. The landscapers haven't sent through their quote either. I just wonder about these businesses sometimes, maybe they don't want the job, maybe we give off a "difficult customer" vibe or smell or something, it's just odd, maybe they just need to write a list?

I shower everyday, I swear.
