Putting in the effort

Monday wasn't the best day exercise wise as I got stuck at my desk nearly all day. Seeing how last week I missed my goals again I've put in a bit of extra effort the last couple of days to make sure that I get over 10K steps each do to try and catch up and make good on my goals. I'm not going to put up with not achieving my exercise goals from now on, there is no excuse for it and if you go back through all my posts where I've said that I've beaten my goals, I've said how good it felt and how healthy I was feeling. Today was like that too, I made sure I was moving lots and actually got lots done at work. I came home from work and put together one of the door panels for the shed and was feeling good about myself.
I've also started making sure that I'm going to bed on time and getting up a little bit earlier so I can get to work a little earlier. The earlier I start the earlier I can finish and with the afternoons getting shorter and shorter I want to have as much daylight as possible remaining when I get home so I can finish the shed and once that's done so I can go out for walks before dinner. As the weather cools down even more, it won't be very nice heading out after the sun goes down.
I want to lose weight, that was the main goal of exercising more, I need to make more of an effort to eat healthier at lunch and not drink as much beer during the week. It's not like I'm drinking lots, one or two every night and I don't need it. I'm just doing it more because it is a habit and it's there. I need to start drinking more water again too as for some reason I've stopped drinking it again. Perhaps that's why I'm drinking beer after work, maybe I'm thirsty.
If I can get the exercise under control again and continue to lose weight, I'll have no excuses for not planning more time for the Motocamp360 business. I still want to give that a proper go and give it a chance of earning me a little extra income.

Why does it seem easy sometimes and hard other times, when nothing has really changed?
