It turns out that my local auto shop should sell the filter and the oil that I need to change the oil on the bike. I cleaned everything up and ran the bike for a while last night but nothing showed up. I then rode to and from work and even went out for a quick ride at lunch, there's still no sign of the oil leak. I'm not sure where it's coming from as there are no signs of it yet.
Over the weekend I'll give the bike a really good clean and try and see if I can get a better idea of what's going on. At least with it being a slow or occasional leak I can afford to wait a little and then order exactly the right part or parts to fix it. On Saturday the kids are coming home from the coast but I should be able to run out in the morning to get what I need to service and clean the bike up properly.
During the week we had a landscaper come past so they could quote on getting the backyard done. We haven't heard from them yet but hopefully we'll get something soon as we'd really like to get started. I'm wondering if we may just go out and get the stuff for the front yard ourselves over the weekend as it seems a shame to waste such a good opportunity. Next week is pretty good too because ANZAC Day falls on the Thursday so with Easter Monday it makes it a three day week and most people won't be at work so it should be fairly cruisy.
Now that the shed is done, I'm thinking that I may start doing the backyard myself and just organise for the dirt and plants to be delivered. I was happy to get someone else in to do it when I was busy but now it seems like I'll have some time on the weekends so I should do it myself. It will be a pretty big job and no doubt take a lot longer than I'm thinking but it's got to be cheaper than paying for someone else to do it for us. Maybe I'll let the landscaper decide for me, if we get a quote and it's not too outlandish then I'll let them do it. If they don't send a quote or, it seems far too expensive then I'll do it myself. The cooler weather is nice for working in the yard and it's been pretty dry. How hard can it really be? Getting rid of the dirt and grass will be the hardest part, unless the ground is really hard under the grass so digging the holes could be tougher than I think....

There's a tool for the electric drill that digs holes right?
