A Little Cruisy

If yesterday was an easy day, today was almost a holiday. After writing yesterday's post I headed out for a walk and took some photos. The photos aren't working for some reason, they won't upload and are crashing the app, so I'll add them when I get back home. [edit: 9 May 2019 - photos now added]
I walked out along one of the docks and found a couple of restored sailing boats and another still being restored.

Enterprize
The Enterprize looked amazing but I can't imagine taking it out on the high seas, it is quite small but it would have been an amazing adventure.

Today we'd finished everything by lunch so we headed into town and ended up doing a tour of Old Melbourne Gaol. It was really good but also a little depressing. Australia has quite a rich history and seeing tbe gallows where Ned Kelly was hanged and walking the Watch House exercise yard where notorious criminals like Chopper Read spent time was pretty cool.
Old Melbourne Gaol
In the gaol they had the death masks of lots of the prisoners who'd been hanged. That was a little freaky but also it showed how things were and the strange traditions we had back when there was a death penalty in Australia.

I highly recommend checking out the Old Melbourne Gaol if you get the chance.

Bomber
Glad to have never been to jail.
