Farkles

Yesterday my replacement clutch lever and the new pivot bolts had arrived. After the kids went to bed I headed out to the garage and installed the new lever and replaced the pivot bolts. I can't remember if I'd mentioned it previously or not but I also purchased some Barkbusters to replace the plastic hand guards that were on the bike when I got it. The Barkbusters weren't cheap but they are well made and should prevent me from snapping any more levers if I accidentally drop the bike again. The other advantage that the Barkbusters have is that they will actually protect my hands if I do any off-road or trail riding where I may get bushes or branches knocking into the bars.
It was good to have a couple of beers and just play with the bike a little, I needed the mental break from the day I'd had and the results are pleasing too.
I noticed when I was working on the bike that there is a fair bit of oil on the outside of the clutch case. I'm not sure what that is from, initially I thought it was just something that I must have ridden through in the wet, but I'm starting to think that maybe I have a small leak from somewhere. I haven't seen any drops under the bike but there is a fair amount of mess on it now.
On the weekend I hope to give the bike and the car a wash as they are both pretty dirty. Once I've washed the bike I'll have to keep a close eye on it to see if it is leaking or if it was just something that I'd managed to somehow flick up on the bike from the road.

Bomber
...please don't let it be a leak.
