fRideday Pieday

Pie at Batemans Bay
Is there a better way to start your weekend then taking the Friday off work to go for a ride to the coast and then having a meat pie for lunch? I don't think so. If there is please tell me about it because at the moment, life doesn't get much better than that.
I headed off around 10am. The weather was awesome with it clear and sunny, it started off around 12°C but by the time I was at the bay it was up to 22°C. I found somewhere to park near the water and made my way to the bakery. It was basically spot on midday. I ate my pie and went back to the bike and came home in time to walk down to the kids school and pick them up. I would have liked to have stayed longer at the coast and maybe gone fishing for a little bit (I have a rod that telescopes so taking it on the bike is easy), however there was rain forecast for this afternoon and although I don't mind riding in the rain, if I can avoid it I will. It was pretty windy on the way back so there is definitely some weather coming in.
Good news today too, the wife has agreed to me purchasing a 360° camera. I'll put up some photos and such when the camera arrives and I've had a chance to play with it.
I'm feeling more relaxed than I have in a while so I think taking the day off and going out for a ride was good medicine. I've also managed to keep my steps up and even with the ride will easily surpass 13K steps today.

Enjoying the little things.
